Albert Camus would agree completely. Your statement summarizes his work succinctly. Life is pointless and the search for meaning is “absurd”, a Quixotic quest. But as Camus noted in Sisyphus, suicide isn’t a reasonable option, so we must carry on with the knowledge that our absurd quest is all we have, and we should carry on valiantly.
