If you’re not familiar with escape from New York, the plot involved New York City being turned into a maximum security prison by simply walling off the whole place. You go in, but you don’t come out. At the time it seemed almost ridiculously far-fetched. It’s an accurate reflection of conditions on the ground today in Gaza.
