I recognize you may be struggling to find interesting content now that Trump is gone. However, this "failed state" meme is jumping the shark. America is not a failed state. Second, the idea that bipartisanship is causing failure completely misunderstands how our government works. To the degree that our government is "failing" is because one of our political parties does not want to act in a bipartisan manner. The Republican's "my way or the highway" mentality is a problem, but at some point, they will pull hard to the right and the rest of the country won't go with them, and their coalition will crumble. In politics if you don't bend you break, and their hardline partisan tactics will eventually fail spectacularly. But that will be their political failure not the failure of the United States or its governing institutions.
