I wrote for a popular blog that at its peak had 3,000-4,000 unique readers come each day (according to Google). I would get 20,000 views or more for each of my articles.
When I started out, I had no readers at all.
For several months, I had very few.
But if your message is good, and people find value in it, readers will find you. Once it happens, you can get hockey-stick growth, and then you have so many readers, it becomes a bit frightening.
Be patient.
Focus on your message.
Don't publish drivel. Nobody wants to read stream of consciousness nonsense out of your daydreams.
Do that, and you will get many, many views.
