My observation is if one of the parents is in denial about their child’s condition, it’s generally the father. If you’re in denial you’re not going to get involved to be part of the solution. Thus, you don’t see many dads. The fact that most of the people on your child’s team are women is probably just due to the overwhelmingly high percentage of teachers and others in the school system being women. If your kid were typical you would notice the same thing.
