You are defending your interpretation of scripture, not God or God’s word. Sadly, for you and those who share your interpretation, fewer and fewer people agree with you, and that trend will continue. It will never be hard to find men who wish to subjugate women, but it will get harder and harder to find women who are willing to put up with it. People just aren’t is gullible as they were back in the day when you could spout God’s word nonsense, and people would accept it. Since the dawn of reason, the authority of the church has been in decline for about 500 years. The SBC just accelerated its decline into irrelevance. The growing majority are happy with that.
