You obviously touched a nerve on that other commenter. I was amazed at how much he wrote for no reason other than being upset.

Those statistics on gun ownership in the US are pretty grim. I read your other post on working in the gun store where are you speculated that the US would never really be able to do anything about the proliferation of guns. Sadly you are probably right.

I appreciate that you shared your unique perspective. Mostly the discourse here is emotional BS like that previous commenter.

America passed a tipping point with guns where they became so widespread that people became fearful and wanted to own a gun for protection. It’s a self reinforcing cycle that causes even more guns which causes even more fear in a downward spiral.
